The Profile tab in the Rumto app holds your account details and settings, and links to support and documents.
Profile name and UID
At the top of the tab you’ll see your profile name and your UID. The UID is your unique account ID: you need it for transfers between Rumto users and when you contact support. Keep a copy somewhere safe.
Documents
Open Profile and, in the information block, tap Documents. All documents are in one list.
Change your password
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Choose the option to change your password.
- Enter your current password to confirm it’s you.
- Enter the new password twice and confirm.
The new password must be at least 8 characters long, differ from the current one and not match your email address. Use a password you don’t use anywhere else, with a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols.
Display currency
In Settings you can choose the currency the app uses to show amounts. It only changes how amounts are displayed; your balance and assets stay in their own currencies. The choice of currencies depends on your region and account type, and you can change it as often as you like.
Language
In Settings, choose the language and save. The whole app switches to it, and the language stays the same the next time you log in.
Clear the cache
If data doesn’t update, the app is slower than usual or shows old information, clear the cache: open Profile, then Settings, choose the option to clear the cache and reload, and confirm. The app reloads in a few seconds.
Clearing the cache removes only temporary files on your device. Your personal data, passwords and transaction history stay on the server. If the problem is still there, close the app completely and open it again, and if that doesn’t help, contact support.
