QR Ph for tourists

QR Ph is the national QR standard in the Philippines. Stores, food stalls and small businesses display it, and locals pay by scanning it with GCash, Maya or a banking app. Setting up those apps usually takes a local phone number and ID, which makes it hard for visitors. Rumto lets you pay by QR in the Philippines from your wallet balance.

What you need

  • A Rumto account in the app.
  • A balance topped up with crypto (USDT, USDC, Bitcoin or any of 100+ supported coins).
  • Camera access for the app.

How to pay

  1. Check that your balance covers the purchase.
  2. Open QR payments from the Home tab, Cards or the Hub.
  3. Scan the merchant’s code.
  4. Check the amount and tap Confirm.

Before you confirm, the app shows the limits and terms for the payment. Once confirmed, the payment can’t be cancelled.

QR and card on one balance

Use QR for purchases in person. For bookings, online services and subscriptions, a Rumto virtual card works from the same balance and can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
