Streaming, app stores and VPN services charge a card every month. A Rumto virtual card works for them: you fund it from your wallet, which you top up with crypto, and the service charges the card as usual. You can keep one card for all subscriptions or issue several cards and split them by service.
Which card works for which service
“Yes” means the service is on the card’s list of supported services. “Not restricted” means the service isn’t on the card’s restriction list but isn’t confirmed either.
| Service | Visa Universe | Visa E-commerce | Mastercard Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Yes | Not restricted | Not restricted |
| Spotify | Yes | Not restricted | Yes |
| App Store and Apple subscriptions | Yes | Yes | Not restricted |
| Google Play | Yes | Yes | Not restricted |
| VPN services (ExpressVPN and others) | Yes | Not restricted | Not restricted |
| PlayStation Store and PS Plus | Yes | Not restricted | Not restricted |
| iCloud, Apple Music, Zoom, Telegram Premium | Not restricted | Not restricted | Not restricted |
For most subscriptions, Visa Universe is the safest choice. For the App Store and Google Play, Visa E-commerce works too, and you only need a phone number to issue it.
How to pay
- Get the card that fits your services in the Rumto app.
- Top up your wallet with crypto and move funds to the card.
- Add the card in the service’s payment settings: its number, expiry date and CVV.
Keep enough money on the card for the next renewal. If the card balance is short on the billing date, the service can’t take the payment.
Cards don’t work inside countries with restrictions. You’ll see the list in the app before you buy a card.
