How to pay by QR in Mongolia

With Rumto you can pay by QR code in Mongolia straight from your wallet balance. You don’t need a card for it.

What you need

• A Rumto account in the app.
• A balance topped up with crypto (USDT, USDC, Bitcoin or another of 100+ coins).
• Camera access for the app.

How to pay

1. Check that the balance covers the purchase.
2. Open QR payments on the Home tab, in Cards or in the Hub.
3. Scan the merchant’s code.
4. Check the amount and tap Confirm.

Limits and terms appear before you confirm. Once you confirm, the payment can’t be cancelled.

When to use a card

For bookings and online payments, use a Rumto virtual card on the same balance. It also works with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Before you travel
